There isn't a time Meghan can recall when she was not thinking about or actively exploring the profound transformation available to us through deeper means of healing.
From a young age, Meghan witnessed the health crises of close family members, and was herself diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome at the age of 16. Following these experiences, Meghan spent a short lifetime studying all aspects of the human experience and how stress, emotions, injury, illness and somatics affect the body, which is how she encountered Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine.

Meghan then pursued a heartfelt journey from financial analyst in Manhattan, NY to fulfill her calling of becoming a licensed Acupuncturist + Herbalist. She began her professional career in private practice & under the mentorship of Dr. Yan Lu in beautiful Portland, OR before love and life brought her to Denver, Colorado.

Meghan earned her Master’s degree in Chinese Medicine from the top program in the United States at Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, and her capstone research study focused on the use of advanced orthopedic and electro-acupuncture techniques for motor function recovery. She has since achieved additional post-graduate certification in Japanese acupuncture and is a Doctoral candidate at Pacific College of Health + Science, aspiring to the highest level of clinical and integrative medical education available for acupuncturists. From her time practicing with Dr. Yan Lu in his clinic, one of the country's leading authors and experts on Chinese medical massage, orthopedic evaluation and treatment, Meghan developed a deep appreciation for and the results achieved from the consistent integration of massage and bodywork with acupuncture and herbal medicine. Manual therapy and therapeutic touch continue to serve as the foundation and distinct core of her approach to each treatment experience.

Meghan is proud to hold space for an all-bodies welcome practice and regularly works with patients from diverse backgrounds who also have varying health concerns. She has extensive experience working through complex cases involving disabled veterans with chronic pain, neurological and/or psycho-emotional challenges to those living with or having survived cancer and other serious illnesses, as examples. Meghan also routinely treats orthopedic injury, autoimmune and digestive conditions, hormonal, reproductive and genitourinary health and provides nervous system regulation for which Chinese Medicine can be a champion. Over decades of study and an attuned understanding of the body's intricate web inform Meghan's treatments to effectively meet patients where they are to help achieve freedom of movement and resilience in mind, body and sprit.

Growing up Italian-American, food was and is a central part of Meghan's life and she has a special area of interest as an integrative health coach in helping her patients discover food, and one's relationship to food, as medicine. (It's also why all patients get treated like family, it's the Italian way!) Through close mentorship and counsel related to nutrition, lifestyle and movement, Meghan aims to impart her patients with the ability to experience a deeper and more vibrant experience of health guided by both the philosophical theory and practical application of Chinese medicine as a path to reclamation, peace and healing of the authentic self.
Outside the clinic, Meghan can be found daydreaming of DIY projects, trekking adventures, baking sourdough, gardening, reading or is out with her partner Salil and their dog Penny exploring the mountains and many a music venue. She is most grateful to have found a healing space with the team at Denver Integrated Therapies and a growing community in Denver, CO.
